Aptera Cuts Production Funding Need to $25M, but Stock Falls 15% on Financing Fears

Aptera now says it needs about $25 million to start production of its solar EV, down sharply from the $40-45 million it cited seven weeks ago. Despite the leaner plan, the stock dropped roughly 15% as the cash-strapped startup pushed customer deliveries to early 2027, subject to financing.
