Nio recalls 686 Firefly EVs in China over steering sensor defect risk

Nio is recalling 686 Firefly electric vehicles in China due to a manufacturing issue that could cause abnormal steering sensor signals and, in extreme cases, loss of power steering assistance. The company will inspect affected vehicles free of charge and replace sensor wiring harnesses where interference is found.
