Sila secures conditional $1.4B US loan to expand silicon anode production

Sila has received a conditional $1.4 billion loan commitment from the US Defense Department to expand its silicon-carbon anode manufacturing in Washington state. The funding will also support a new battery cell facility for high-performance drones and other specialty applications.
