Microchip launches 10BASE-T1S Ethernet transceivers for zonal vehicle edge nodes

Microchip Technology expanded its 10BASE-T1S single-pair Ethernet portfolio with the LAN8679 and LAN8680 transceivers plus the LAN8660X/1X/2X endpoint family. The AEC-Q100 and ISO 26262-ready devices target zonal vehicle architectures, reducing wiring weight and cost by connecting sensors and actuators directly at the network edge.
