XPENG and Academic Partners Release GroundingPI Open-Source Visual Perception Model for Physical AI

Researchers affiliated with XPENG, Peking University, and the University of Hong Kong have unveiled GroundingPI, a 4-billion-parameter open-source visual perception model for Physical AI. It scored 73.68 across 34 perception benchmarks, outperforming GPT-6 Astra in the team's evaluation, with code and model weights publicly released.
