VALENCIA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–H2scan® has announced HY-GUARD® RS and HY-SIGHT™, expanding its portfolio into lithium-ion batteries. The solutions provide earlier hydrogen detection, real-time local visibility and flexible integration for lithium-ion battery systems in battery rooms and energy storage containers/facilities.
HY-GUARD RS is a compact all-in-one hydrogen monitor designed to provide continuous hydrogen monitoring near the source of off-gassing. Its flexible installation options allow operators to position sensing where early detection is most valuable, including battery rooms, enclosures and energy storage containers.
HY-SIGHT connects to the HY-GUARD RS monitors to provide centralized visibility into battery monitoring conditions while supporting customizable communication options for integration with facility safety and Energy Storage Management systems. Together, HY-GUARD RS and HY-SIGHT help operators identify developing battery conditions before they progress into more serious safety events.
