Tesla Enables V2H Bidirectional Charging on New Model 3 and Model Y, Powershare Now Live
Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles built in the US on or after October 1, 2026 support vehicle-to-home (V2H) charging via the Powershare system, delivering up to 11.5 kW of backup power. Owners can check their car's touchscreen to see whether Powershare Support is enabled, though older vehicles cannot be upgraded via software alone.
