Gore launches MultiVent integrated battery vent combining pressure equalization and thermal-runaway evacuation
W. L. Gore & Associates has introduced the GORE Battery Vents MultiVent Series, a single integrated vent for EV and energy storage battery packs that equalizes pressure, blocks moisture and evacuates gas during thermal runaway. The design replaces combinations of dual-stage vents, separate evacuation valves and desiccants, claiming up to six times the airflow of alternatives and sharply lower moisture ingress.
