Infineon launches high-voltage BMS reference design built on AURIX TC4x microcontroller

Infineon has introduced a high-voltage battery management system reference design that runs advanced battery models directly on the BMU using the AURIX TC4x microcontroller and its parallel processing unit. The design includes pack and cell monitoring units plus a software package, and Infineon claims it can extend battery lifetime by up to 30% and cut charging times by up to 20%.
